About
We believe aesthetic care should be personal. We take the time to listen to your goals, understand what makes you feel confident, and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
Our approach is thoughtful and intentional — focused on enhancing what you already love while keeping your results natural, refined, and authentically you. Because the goal isn't to look like someone else. It's to feel beautiful in your own skin.
Listen first. Treat intentionally. Enhance your natural beauty.
Meet Macy
As an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner, Macy has mastered the skill of a comprehensive assessment — which includes understanding your needs. Her medical experience began in 2017 in the emergency department and has grown since into full-time family practice, where she works as a primary care provider. Continuing education is a commitment she makes to stay proficient for every client.
She holds Full Practice Authority in the State of Illinois, and performs every treatment personally.
MT Medical Aesthetics was founded with the belief that aesthetic care should be personal, thoughtful, and never feel pressured. Each treatment begins with listening to the individual goals and concerns of every client, followed by honest recommendations and a personalized approach to care.
Whether the goal is a subtle refresh or a more comprehensive aesthetic plan, every treatment is designed to enhance natural features and help each client feel confident in their own skin.
Treatments
Every treatment is planned in consultation. Pricing is discussed at your visit, once we know what you actually need — which is usually less than people expect.
Soften the lines. Keep the expression.
Softens the expression lines that come from years of smiling, squinting and concentrating — without changing how your face moves.
Restore. Refine. Balance.
Restores volume where it's been lost and refines contour where you want more definition. Placed conservatively, built up over time rather than all at once.
Build what time gradually takes away.
Rather than filling a line directly, these work with your own collagen over a series of months — a gradual, structural approach that suits deeper folds.
Renew the skin you live in.
Creates controlled micro-injuries that prompt your skin to rebuild itself — for texture, tone and the general quality of your skin. Best in a series of three. Adding exosomes or PDRN shortens the recovery.
Resurface with intention.
A resurfacing treatment for tone, texture and pigment. Which peel you have depends on what you want corrected and how much downtime you can actually take.
Small treatment. Beautifully simple.
A precise, quick treatment for age spots, skin tags and warts. Often added on to an appointment you're already having.
Every spot is assessed first. If something doesn't look like what you think it is, we'll tell you and refer you on — that matters more than treating it.
A targeted approach to healthier-looking hair.
A microneedling-based approach to the scalp, offered as a series of three to six sessions. Available to both men and women, and one of the treatments people are most surprised we do.
A simple boost of essential support.
Available by appointment, as often as monthly depending on what you and Macy decide together.
Built for your skin, not for a product line.
A personalized routine built for your skin and your budget — included with your treatment, not sold as an add-on. Not tied to any one product line.
Dermaplaning is available here too, as an add-on to a wrinkle relaxer or filler appointment.
Wrinkle Relaxers
All four are forms of botulinum toxin type A. They temporarily relax targeted muscles, which softens expression lines and creates a smoother, more refreshed appearance — without changing your natural features.
They work in a similar way, but they aren't the same. Different formulations, different dosing units, different characteristics — which means one may suit a particular treatment or patient better than another. There is no single product that's best for everyone.
The original, and the name most people recognize. A long history of use in aesthetic medicine, with predictable, refined results. A great choice for many patients.
Another well-established option that may begin to show results relatively quickly. Some patients and providers find it has a broader area of effect, which can be useful in certain areas.
Contains the active botulinum toxin without some of the accessory proteins found in other formulations — often a good option for patients who prefer a more streamlined formulation.
Developed specifically with aesthetic treatment in mind. Works similarly to the others and can provide smooth, natural-looking results.
The product is only one part of the treatment. At your consultation we look at your facial anatomy, how your muscles move, your treatment history, and how you want your results to look and feel. From there, the right product and dosing are chosen to create a result that's balanced, natural, and specific to you.
A note on comparing prices: these products are dosed in different units, so a per-unit price on its own doesn't tell you what a treatment costs. We'll always talk through what your specific treatment involves before anything is scheduled.
Dermal Filler
One of the most reassuring things about hyaluronic acid filler is that it doesn't have to be permanent. If you're ever unhappy with a result, or your goals change, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved.
We keep Hylenex on hand for exactly that reason. It's a small thing that makes a big difference to how comfortable first-timers feel — and it's worth knowing before you book anywhere, not just here.
This applies to hyaluronic acid fillers only. Collagen biostimulators — Radiesse and Sculptra — work differently and cannot be dissolved, which is worth knowing before you choose between them.
Weight Management
A personalized, medically supervised approach to weight loss — designed around safe, sustainable results with clinical oversight throughout.
Every patient begins with a physical examination performed by Macy. From there, if treatment is appropriate, prescriptions are written for branded, FDA-approved medications — not compounded alternatives — and filled through the manufacturer's pharmacy service and delivered to you.
The first visit takes about an hour and covers the examination and your medication options. Follow-up visits are shorter — reviewing where your weight is, and talking through diet and daily habits.
Current options include Zepbound® (injectable), Wegovy® (injectable or tablet) and Foundayo® (tablet). Which one, if any, is right for you is a clinical decision made together at your appointment.

Before anything else, a proper conversation about what's bothering you, what you like about your face, and what you want to avoid. No pressure, and no treatment you didn't ask for.
Your anatomy, your movement, your history and your comfort level decide the plan — including whether now is the right time to do anything at all.
You'll leave knowing exactly what to expect and how to reach us. Follow-up is part of the treatment, not an upsell.
Patients 18 and over, at every stage — whether you're thinking about prevention in your twenties or addressing changes you've noticed more recently. A growing number of our patients are men, and treatment plans are built accordingly.
By appointment only — booking is online and takes a minute.
Wednesday mornings, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, from November 1.
Nothing here that works for you? Send a text and we'll see what we can arrange — evenings and other days are often possible.
Some treatments sit together well in one visit — wrinkle relaxers, filler and a skincare plan are routinely done side by side. Others need spacing rather than stacking: microneedling, chemical peels and anything else that resurfaces or irritates the same patch of skin want their own healing window before or after injectables.
You don't need to work this out in advance. If what you're asking for needs to be split across two visits, we'll say so and plan the order.
Some circumstances mean postponing a treatment rather than adjusting it — pregnancy or breastfeeding, an active infection or cold sore near the treatment area, certain medical conditions or medications, and recent procedures on the same skin. Each treatment has its own specifics, and they're covered properly at your consultation.
The same applies to anything that doesn't look like what you think it is. A spot that's changing, bleeding or irregular gets evaluated, not treated cosmetically.

Questions
Every treatment begins with an individualized assessment to determine whether it's appropriate for you, and what approach best fits your goals.
You don't have to know. Tell us what you'd like to improve, and we'll work out which treatment — or combination — makes the most sense.
Sometimes. Complementary treatments can work beautifully together, but some need to be separated to allow appropriate healing.
That's completely okay. We would rather adjust the plan than perform a treatment you're not comfortable with.
Yes. The approach is thoughtful and conservative, with the goal of enhancing what you already love rather than changing who you are.
It depends on the treatment and your timeline. If you're preparing for an event, plan at least two weeks ahead to allow time for healing and for results to develop.
Some aesthetic and elective treatments are postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Your medical history and the specific treatment determine what's appropriate.
Tell us. Your medical history, medications and allergies all matter when deciding whether a treatment is appropriate and how it should be performed.
